Panton is my reminder that a single strong colour can do more than a wall of beige objects.
Verner Panton (1926-1998) pushed plastic, textile and light into shapes other designers avoided. I keep him to a few signature pieces so the page does not become a rainbow catalogue.

I pair a Panton chair or Flowerpot with oak, linen and plaster. The icon carries the colour. The rest of the room stays calm.

Cone chair

A cone seat that reads as sculpture before it reads as seating.
Early Panton cone chairs are rare in honest stock photography. Most cone loungers online are distant cousins. Caption similar to, and link a contemporary cone-style chair only when I have a row.
