Jacobsen is the designer I reach for when a room needs quiet structure, not decoration.
Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) designed buildings and the furniture inside them, often for Fritz Hansen and Louis Poulsen. The SAS Royal Hotel work alone still feeds half the lounge silhouettes you see online. I stay with Series 7, Egg and Swan, and AJ lighting.
How I read his style

Thin shells, tubular legs, and lamps that aim light instead of flooding it.
His chairs stack or nest. His lamps are directional. Warm oak floors and white walls suit him better than heavy curtains.
